Booking an appointment with a tattoo artist at the Sydney Tattoo Convention 2025 is a great opportunity to get tattooed by some of the best tattooists from around the world. Here are the steps to book an appointment:
Research the Tattoo Artists: Before you book an appointment, you should research the tattoo artists who will be attending the convention, you can do this by visiting our artist lineup page or checking our socials for artist announcements. You can look at their portfolios by viewing the tattoos they have previously done on their instagram & check the style aligns with your vision. This will help you to find a tattoo artist who can meet your specific needs and expectations.
Contact the Tattoo Artist: Once you have found a tattoo artist you like, you can contact them directly to book an appointment. Many artists will have booking information available on their social media pages, Instagram bio or website. You can contact them directly for booking enquiries.
Walk-Ups: Some tattoo artists may also take walk-up appointments during the convention. This means you can show up at their booth without an appointment and see if they have availability. Some artists will have pre-drawn flash designs in their style that you can choose from, and some may take custom requests. However, it is best to check the artists socials first to see if they will be taking walk-ups during the convention to avoid disappointment.
Deposits: Most tattoo artists will require a deposit to secure your appointment. This is to ensure that you are committed to the appointment and to cover any expenses the artist may incur if you cancel. The deposit amount will vary depending on the artist, but it is typically a percentage of the total cost of the tattoo.
Prepare for Your Appointment: Once you have booked your appointment, you should prepare for the tattoo session. This includes ensuring that you have eaten a good meal, are well-hydrated, and have worn appropriate clothing to allow the tattoo artist easy access to the area being tattooed.
